We thought that taking part in the Cheltenham Literature Festival Lit Crawl 2022 would be a great opportunity to run taster sessions for people who’ve never tried escape rooms before.
The Lit Crawl is a programme of free events hosted throughout Cheltenham to encourage more people to get involved with the Literature Festival.
As part of Lit Crawl 2022, we opened up all three of our escape rooms for 15 minute taster sessions for people to try. Teams of up to 4 could drop in and see if they could solve two themed puzzles in just 15 minutes to earn a prize!
Easy puzzles were available in our newest game, Cheese Robbers, medium puzzles in our Gustav Holst inspired game, The Missing Piece, or challenging puzzles in our GCHQ game, Operation Foresight. The puzzles provided a sneak peek into each of the rooms, but the puzzles were uniquely designed for this event only, so there were no spoilers for those wanting to play the full rooms another time!
All the new players had a great time with the taster puzzles and it was great to be a small part of the renowned Cheltenham Literature Festival, which does so much to promote our town.
